We recently bought a 22′ 1965 Airstream Safari and I’ve been in aluminum heaven!
This new addition to the Mobile Home Living family brings a lot of big plans with it. We are hoping to head west in September for a few months, meeting and helping as many manufactured homeowners as possible along the way (more about that later – we’re hoping to offer very affordable repair and plumbing services but I have to check on the legalities first and haven’t had a chance yet).
Here’s what our Airstream looks like. Keep in mind that we just got it and haven’t had a chance to do much other than clean it up a bit:
Here’s the interior:
This model has the removable bunk beds so it can sleep up to 4 comfortably (even 5 if 2 people share the gaucho bed).
We have a lot of work ahead of us but it will definitely be worth every second and I’ll be sure to share each step as we go!
Airstream Interior Ideas
Since I’ll eventually get to the Airstream interior I’ve already started to collect some of my favorite Airstream interiors.
I thought you might like to see them too. There’s a style for everyone!
Thank you so much for reading Mobile and Manufactured Home Living!
