This month we are sharing 5 70s mobile homes that we found listed online for sale. Each has something different to offer and each is just looking for the right owner!

Our last of the 70s mobile homes this month is in the Senior capital of the country, Florida. It’s a 1972, 2 bedroom and 2 bath home, with a listing price of $38,500. This fully furnished split floor plan also has a fully enclosed lanai that adds more living space as well.

One of the biggest features we found in this month’s 70s mobile homes is the addition of mini-split HVAC systems. If you are unfamiliar with the term HGTV explains it like this:

Simply defined, ductless air conditioning systems (also known as mini-splits) link individual room units to an outdoor compressor. The indoor unit contains evaporator coils cooled with refrigerant. Warm air from the room blows over and is absorbed by the coils. From there, the refrigerant transfers all that inside heat to the outdoor unit.

This makes them perfect for older mobile homes that aren’t equipped with heat pumps for their heating and cooling. We all know that traditional air conditioners are loud, use a lot of electricity, and are eyesores. However, mini-splits take up very little space and are much quieter. Also, there’s the added bonus of being energy efficient.
