This stunning 1974 manufactured home in California’s exclusive Point Dume community is a show-stopper. With its amazing views and open floor plan, it’s no wonder the home sold for a whopping 2.5 Million! This custom-built, modern design, three-bedroom, four-bath home features wood floors, tiled bathrooms, an open kitchen, and a dining space with floor-to-ceiling glass bi-folding doors opening to a large deck with mountain and ocean views. All three bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, a primary bedroom with ocean views, and a large walk-in closet. The third bedroom could serve as a guest suite with a private entry.

Take a look at this gorgeous home and be ready to get inspired!

Wide open space

One of the greatest attributes of open floor plans is your options. For example, these homeowners were able to not only make plenty of room for a seating area but also include a nice dining room area with floor space to spare.

I love this layout.

The kitchen is state of the art with stainless steel appliances, an island with a breakfast bar, and plenty of cabinet space. The owners also added pendant lighting in the kitchen and dining area, with a nice beachy feel to them.

Who doesn’t love a big laundry room?
This view is spectacular!

Who Wouldn’t love that view?

If the inside of this stunning 1974 manufactured home isn’t enough to impress you, how about the large deck wrapped around the home that offers the most amazing views? Not only is there plenty of room for entertaining but the space is very private as well.

This view is something special.
The multiple sliding glass entrances allow for plenty of natural light.
This is a classic example of why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

We always like to research properties like this stunning 1974 manufactured home and try to find pictures of what the property may have looked like before it was transformed. We did find a little to share for this particular home; the home was listed and sold in June 2013 for 5,000. At that time, it only had two bedrooms and two baths, and the listing shared that there was room to expand, which, at some point, an owner took advantage of and added a bedroom and two baths.

The glass entries have always been a big selling point.

Manufactured homes in communities such as Point Dume are always great for us to share. Not only does it show the unlimited potential that can be found in manufactured homes, but it also helps to remove the stigmas that have long been associated with mobile homes and mobile home parks. Older homes like these have great bones, and can be transformed into just about anything you want, as long as you have an open mind!

Don’t forget, we are always looking for remodels to feature. Check out our get-featured page and learn how to submit your home!
