I thought my blowup Minion Dracula and 10′ ghost in the front yard was pretty cool but my Halloween decor is nothing compared to Richie and Maureen Wright‘s boo-tiful manufactured home.

I was so excited to get to feature the Wright’s home in July. I only Facebook stalked her a little bit after seeing some photos she shared on our Mobile Home Living: Remodels and Repairs Facebook Group. Thankfully, I didn’t spook her too much and she was as friendly as Casper the ghost. She was so friendly, in fact, she is letting me share her boo-tiful manufactured home twice. Hopefully, Christmas will make it three times because I have a feeling her home is going to be decked all out.

Mrs. Wright has one of the most beautiful front porches I’ve ever seen and she makes it even better with her awesome decorations. Her festive Fourth of July decorations were great but her Halloween decorations are amazing!

Halloween 2019

For Halloween 2019, Richie and Maureen Wright decorated their manufactured home with a spider theme. Very large and very hungry spiders.

On the left side of the gorgeous porch is full of oversized spiders. The collected skulls are unsettling, to say the least.

No doubt about it, oversized spiders are creepy especially when they’ve caught a human for dinner.

A walk up to the front door isn’t for the faint of heart because skeletons watch your every move.

Halloween 2018

Richie and Maureen Wright also shared her manufactured home Halloween decorations from 2018 on Facebook, too.

2018 was the year of the skull at Richie and Maureen’s beautiful home. She made arches of dead branches and attached skulls to them along with creepy crawlers.

The rocking chair skeletons were watching over their friends.

Affordable Halloween Decorations

The following affordable Halloween decorations may not compare to the beautiful home above but they are very budget-friendly and a great way to add a little decor to your home.

I love any store with the word Dollar in it but the Dollar Tree is one of my all-time favs. They have cute crafts and Halloween decorations and if you have a little imagination you can create some really great decorations at a really great price. Here are a few ideas I found using only items available at the Dollar Tree.

Spooky Skull Wreath

This skeleton wreath would look great on any door. All you need is a wreath base, a wide ribbon, and the skeleton heads that are all available at Dollar Tree.

Styrofoam wreath, ribbon, and skulls

You can read more about the craft here.

Scarecrow and Spider Wine Glass Friends

This next affordable Halloween decoration is adorable! Upside down wine glasses were magically turned into a scarecrow and a spider.

You’ll need:

  • large wine glasses
  • paint
  • pipe cleaners
  • black paper or felt
  • a flower
  • straw

You can read the directions here.

Dishcloth Pillows are Perfect for Fall

Turn the cute flour sack dishcloths at Dollar Tree into pillows.

You can buy everything you need at the Dollar Tree except the hot glue gun (don’t go cheap on those):

  • Cotton or Poly-Fiber Stuffing
  • Flour Sack Dish Cloths
  • Hot Glue Gun (Not Sold at Dollar Tree)
  • Hot Glue Sticks
  • Scissors

I’d probably sew the seams instead of using hot glue but they glue works fine and is a lot faster. You can learn more about the project here.

Welcoming Wreaths

Wreaths are really easy and can make a huge impact on your curb appeal. You can make any of these cute wreaths using products from the Dollar Tree.

Pumpkin mesh wreath

You really can have nice and affordable Halloween decorations. You don’t have to spend $65 on a wreath!

A big thank you to Richie and Maureen Wright for letting me share their gorgeous double wide. Their home is yet another wonderful example of how gorgeous a manufactured home can be and how you can make it even more boo-tiful with awesome decorations.

As always, thank you for reading Mobile Home Living®!
