We couldn’t wait to share this Malibu double wide with you that we recently found online. Formerly owned by Baywatch babe, Pamela Anderson, this updated mobile home is located inside the upscale Paradise Cove mobile home community and was last listed for sale at a whopping 1.75 Million! Paradise Cove has long been known for its high-end mobile homes as well as its high-profile residents. With its many amenities and its close proximity to the beach, we can see why!

We couldn’t find a current listing for the home, so we assume the home has been sold.

Stunning Describes this Malibu Double Wide

With its corner fireplace, French doors opening to the patio, and open floor plan, this is a stunning example of the unlimited potential of a mobile home. Recessed lighting has been added to the living area as well as both bedrooms, and the kitchen was completely redone with new cabinetry as well as a custom backsplash.

Stylishly decorated with a boho but beachy feel, the interior feels light and bright but still seems cozy. The home features 2 bedrooms, 1.3/4baths and there’s a detached art studio on the lot, which could definitely be transformed to whatever the new owners had in mind for it. We weren’t able to find an active listing for the home, but we would say it probably went for the asking price or close to that considering the upscale community it calls home.

Love this built-in.
The entire space is warm and inviting.
The kitchen is state-of-the-art.
A trio of pendant lights highlight the breakfast bar.

Both the bedrooms are roomy and the master appears to have plenty of closet space as well. The second bedroom features plank board walls and a double/twin built in bed setup.

Light oak floors flow through the entire home.
Built in bunk beds make the most of the bedroom.

The master bath includes a soaker tub as well as a frameless shower. However, the his and her vanity is the star of the room. Rather than the typical drop in sinks most homes have, two modern vessel sinks sit atop the countertop to complete the updated bathroom look.

Soaker tub or shower, the choice is yours!

A Peek at the Ocean Awaits

The Malibu double wide sits on a corner lot that includes a nice area for entertaining, a sunken hot tub, and even a spot for your surfboard, with the ocean only a short walk away. Although the deck isn’t covered, luckily the weather in California typically doesn’t make that a requirement for a night of entertaining.

Well placed shrubbery offers extra privacy.
Who wouldn’t enjoy looking up at the stars from this spot.
Building the bar-b-que area around a tree keeps the natural feel to the space.
Most lots in the paradise cove park are small but inviting.

We know these aren’t your typical mobile homes, with their high price tags they definitely aren’t in most people’s budgets. However, it is great to see that mobile homes can have just as much, if not more, value than a stick-built home. Also, we love looking at the interiors and getting remodeling and decor ideas to share. We would love to hear what you think of it as well, comment below and let us know if you enjoyed it!

As always we thank you for reading Mobile Home Living.
