Today’s find comes from a Facebook friend and fellow mobile home fan, Steve. He was kind enough to send us a super cool picture of a 1964 trailer he saw online and we knew we had to know more.

Manufactured by Kit Manufacturing Company, this one bedroom/1 bath trailer sits in Ramon Mobile Home Park in Palm Springs, California, and was most recently featured on Dwell.

Retro is Back

Like many of the mobile homes in the park, this 1964 trailer was completely transformed. We are huge fans of anything retro or eclectic and even have a whole section on the site devoted this decor style: Eclectic and Unique Decor. So we love how Lisa, the owner, described her home as a “Mid Century Trailer meets Hollywood Regency, Bohemian pad. Minimal budget, high on style and efficient use of space.” We couldn’t agree more!

Color makes this interior pop!
A cool lighting fixture makes a great focal point.

Love that rainfall shower head.

The Outside is Even Cooler

If the interior wasn’t enough to leave you awestruck, the outside will definitely leave you speechless. As we all know, With everything that is going on right now there’s no better place to entertain than your own backyard. Whether you are just hanging out or hosting a gathering, you couldn’t ask for a better spot than this cool 1964 trailer’s backyard.

A grand entrance!
Look at that sky.
The perfect spot for an evening of entertaining.

This vintage mobile home has it all, cool layout, a great design look, and an outdoor entertaining space that is fit for a celebrity gathering. Add to that it’s location with both mountains and palm trees plus an amazing view of the sky and you can’t lose with this 1964 trailer.
