February 2, 2020February 22, 2026 Comments Off on Contemporary Design Showcased in Remodeled Single Wide

I never get tired of seeing what homeowners can accomplish when they put their minds to it. A perfect example, the contemporary decor that is showcased in this remodeled single wide we found online. Although the home has since sold, take a look at the ad:

Looks Can be Deceiving

From the outside, this home looks like most older single wide mobile homes. The owners did give the home a fresh coat of paint which updated the look. They also installed new vinyl windows throughout which is sure to help with the heating and cooling costs of the home.

The Interior of this Remodeled Single Wide is a Beauty

However, the inside of this remodeled single wide is exactly why you should never judge a book by its cover. One of the biggest projects the homeowners tackled, the installation of drywall throughout the entire home. Not only did they replace the walls, but they also redid the ceilings. As you can see, drywall can drastically change the look of a home.

The homeowners also added an electric fireplace insert along one wall in the living room. It looks like they used faux stone panels and left room for a flat-screen tv to be installed.

The Kitchen Completes the Look

Another highlight of this remodeled single wide? The combination of quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances that adds to the contemporary design the owners were creating.

One of the fastest ways to change the look of a mobile home kitchen without breaking the bank? Paint the cabinets. Which looks like exactly what the homeowners did, along with installing stainless steel appliances to finish updating the space.

Unfortunately, the homeowners didn’t share the updates from the rest of this remodeled single wide. However, if the living area and kitchen are any indication we are sure they did a great job continuing the transformation of this older mobile home.
