There are some noticeable exterior features on this newer 2013 single wide that we haven’t seen on older manufactured home models. It’s good to see the industry innovating again – for the last couple of decades we’ve seen the same styles.

One of the most obvious differences is front door placement. Taking a queue from the popular shotgun houses of the deep south, manufactured homes are perfect for this placement. It gives the home a more traditional look and allows for a more thoughtful floor plan.

Another new element on this 2013 Giles single wide manufactured home is the trundle/traverse windows. These smaller windows above the standard windows are a great way to add more light into the home and create a smart focal point that pulls the eye from the floor to the ceiling.

A modern open floor plan with a corner kitchen and circular breakfast bar makes for a great flow.

Creating high focal points in a room with low ceilings makes it seem as if the ceiling is higher.

There was no price listed unfortunately. Still, I guarantee it was affordable! i love to share these craigslist finds because they provide real life inspiration for our own homes. The stylish elements in this 2013 single wide manufactured home can easily be used in a mobile home of any age!
