Last week introduced you to the Palm Canyon Mobile Club. This is a new twist on mobile home community living. This all-ages manufactured home park is an excellent combination of vintage mobile homes, modern manufactured homes, and new tiny home designs, with the hope to attract younger couples and families who are looking for all the amenities that are available but with the bonus of owning their own home. We also promised to share with you a few of the homes that are available in this up and coming community and today we are excited to bring you this 1965 vintage mobile home.
So Much Potential
According to the listing on Zillow, this 1965 2 bedroom mobile home is priced at 119,995. It has had some remodeling completed a few years ago, but there is much potential to be found in this home. The master bedroom is roomy and includes a nice office/closet space, and there are new windows throughout. Also, it looks like most of the windows include shutters instead of blinds, which adds character to the home. All in all, this seems to be a nice investment for someone who is looking for something that needs a facelift but not a total redo. (I apologize for the interior pictures, the quality is not what I had hoped it to be, but you can get a general idea)

What A View
The biggest selling point of this 1965 vintage mobile home we see is the combination of the view and the amenities. Not to mention the family-friendly amenities that are offered. It’s always good to see vintage mobile homes being updated and utilized! As long as the home is structurally sound you can remodel them as little or as much as you want.

In the coming weeks, we are exploring one of the more modern manufactured homes that can be found at Mobile Canyon Mobile Club and also their newest additions to the community, the tiny home. Stay tuned.

Thank you for sharing that great home! I’m currently purchasing my mobile home. It’s a single wide, 2br and it doesn’t have closets. Large living room, with an open kitchen. Not to many cupboards. I just got a new faucet put in by management. It has a cement patio leading to the front door on the side. Its cracked of course. I’m currently purchasing it for only $1000. I’m hoping I don’t have to spend alot to update it. That’s why I Love reading your articles. They bring me many new ideas. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
As always, thanks for sharing…especially like hearing about the “wide range” of types of mobile homes!
