Every month we share some our favorite mobile homes for sale. We love finding interesting mobile homes that have been remodeled to share with you. Our May 2018 edition features five mobile homes that offer an inexpensive path to home ownership and are all move in ready!
Also, big thanks to our friend Steve for finding all these great mobile homes and sharing them on his Manufactured Housing Facebook page.
Keep in mind, we aren’t realtors, we just enjoy looking and talking about mobile homes. All of our picks include the original listings, but they may be sold and taken off the market at any time.
Pretty in Pink 1976 Mobile Home For $36,000
Our first find, this two bedroom/2 bath 1,000 square foot mobile home located in Hendersonville, NC listed on Zillow. From the images on the listing, you can see that the entire interior has been remodeled with new flooring, updated cabinets and an addition that runs the whole length of the mobile home. Another great feature of this mobile home? The built-ins that are in the master bedroom. Home is sold.
The owners also painted the interior a pale shade of pink, which is a perfect match for the exterior. As we mentioned earlier this year, pastel colors are hot for 2018. This shade of pink is a nice compliment to the decor of the home without seeming too feminine. We love it!
Remodeled Starter Home For $20,000
While researching for our recent Mobile Home Living in Mississippi article we found this darling 1982 two bedroom/2 bath mobile home with just over 900 square feet, in Greenville Mississippi, on Zillow. The first thing we noticed about this remodeled mobile home? The double built-in oven and all the kitchen cabinets. Home is sold.
It looks like new flooring has been installed throughout and updates have been made to both bathrooms as well. There are only a couple of upgrades that a new owner may consider. Maybe updating the bathtubs and perhaps changing out the closet doors. The home even includes a wood burning fireplace.
Like New Mobile Home For $16,900
Looking for a mobile home that is move in ready? This two bedroom, 800 square feet mobile home that is listed on Craigslist and located outside of Columbus Ohio, is precisely that. Updated all the way down to the subfloors and new kitchen cabinets, this home is a perfect example of the kinds of mobile homes that is now found in mobile home parks. Home is sold.
The exterior of the home is very well maintained as well, and the home looks to be nicely landscaped and is sitting on a corner lot and includes a storage building and covered porch. The year of the home isn’t listed, but it has definitely been well taken care of!
Vintage Beauty Mobile Home For $3,500
We admit we are big fans of vintage mobile homes. This two bedroom 500 square feet, 1963 New Moon mobile home located in central Florida found on Craigslist is a beauty! This mobile home looks to have been updated but still has all the original fixtures, cabinets and built-ins. This is what tiny home living looked like before it was cool! Home is sold.
Hidden Gem Mobile Home For $55,000
This three bedroom 1991 mobile home located in Wisconsin, listed on Craigslist, is a little pricier than some of the homes we usually feature. However, we wanted to share it with you because the layout is one of our favorites. A split floor plan with the master bedroom on one end and the living area in the middle with the other two bedrooms on the opposing end is a great way to maximize space and privacy if you are a family with children. Home is sold.
The listing doesn’t specify, but this mobile home also looks to have been remodeled with new flooring and possibly a kitchen update. We also love the porch and garage added to the property.
We hope you have enjoyed this month’s favorite mobile homes for sale. This is only a small sampling of mobile homes that are available for sale across the country. Keep in mind, sites such as Zillow, Realtor.com, Craigslist, and even your local Facebook marketplace are all wonderful resources to find your perfect home.
