This time of year is prime buying and selling season for real estate. Luckily, you can find as many manufactured homes being sold through sites such as Zillow and Realtor.com as traditional stick built homes. For example, this completely renovated double wide was featured on Zillow for $139,000, and it is an absolutely stunning property that shows how awesome mobile homes are.

A Look at the Completely Updated Interior
We aren’t sure what part of this completely renovated double wide we are more in love with, the decorating style or the floor plan. As soon as you enter the front of the home, you are greeted with a lovely foyer that you don’t see in many mobile home layouts. With the open floor concept the living room, dining room and kitchen all flow together with a beachy, contemporary decor style that isn’t overwhelming.
According to the listing, the kitchen has been upgraded with custom cabinets, granite countertops, a floating island, and much more. Also, both bathrooms have been updated with huge walk-in showers and tile. As you can see, most of the lighting has also been updated throughout. This is just one of the simple ways to make a dramatic difference in a home.
Perfect Entertaining Space
Starting with the sunroom and leading out into the backyard this renovated double wide continues to awe us! The sunroom is a wonderful addition to a manufactured home that is in a warmer climate such as this one in South Carolina. With plenty of entertaining space, the backyard is an oasis that includes a stone patio and fire pit.

In the Little River/North Myrtle Beach, SC area you can buy a two-story home with 2100 sq ft on a golf course with pond view and 2 car attached garage on 1/4 acre for 159k (20k more). I think this home is not in an HOA community, though, so that’s a def positive. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the astounding home prices around the nation. Thankfully, in the South, it isn’t too expensive (yet).
