Every few weeks we scour Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Facebook groups like Manufactured Housing, and Realtor sites so that we can share inexpensive mobile home finds with you. We have even dedicated an entire section on Mobile Home Living to some of our favorite homes for sale. This month we have found some great ones that we can’t wait to share!
Keep in mind, although these homes were available on Facebook marketplace at publication, the links may not still be available as homes sell quickly!
Turn-Key Home in Iowa
Our first find is a 3 bedroom/2 bath mobile home in Iowa for $30,000. Some of the features include:
- All new windows and doors
- A completely updated kitchen with a custom concrete countertop
- Installed bluetooth in the bath
- Completely remodeled bathrooms with marble shower
- A detached sunroom
- New paint and flooring throughout
The owners did a great job transforming this home and seem to have it priced very reasonably. The home is located in a quite neighborhood and not a park, which really makes this home a steal!
Lake View Living in Florida in Updated Home
Our next home is located in a 55+ community in Florida and is listed at $87,500. That may not seem like an inexpensive mobile home find, however this home has been completely remodeled and is definitely worth the price. The owners added plantation shutters throughout, french doors that lead to the master bedroom, along with fresh paint, an upgraded kitchen, and a huge screened in porch.
The lot rent is pretty high in this community, at $850 a month. This does include use of all the amenities including the clubhouse and heated pool. Not to mention the home overlooks the canal.

Single Wide is Priced to Sell in Virginia
The ad for our next home states that this home is a fixer upper and is listed for $9,500. However, unless there is some damage that we can’t see, this home looks like it only needs some cosmetic work such as a new coat of paint and some new lighting fixtures.
This home is located in an all ages park, but the lot rent is much more manageable at $250 per month.
1975 Single Wide in Pennsylvania
This 70’s model single-wide looks to be in all of its original glory except for some updating flooring and lighting. Listed for $24,900, this home would make a great retirement spot for someone looking for a project. Some fresh paint to lighten up those dark walls, and perhaps an update to the kitchen and this home would be ready to go!
Inexpensive Mobile Home in Florida
Our final inexpensive mobile home find is also located in a 55+ community in Florida. Listed for a much more affordable price of $33,900, this home has new kitchen cabinets, fresh coat of paint throughout, and includes 2 screened in porches.
One of our favorite features of this particular home is the use of the weathered look pallet wallpaper in different spaces in the home. It really helps carry the style through the entire space.
It’s so inspiring looking for homes that are for sale to share with our readers. All of this month’s homes are beautiful examples of just what Mobile Home Living is all about, affordable and stylish living that can’t be beat!
Thank you for reading and supporting Mobile Home Living.
$87,000 plus $850 a month lot rent is under no one’s definition of “affordable” amenities or not.
All are lovely. I really like the paneling in that one home. To paint it, esp the dining room, would take away its charm. Very country, I like it.
I agree it’s not the most affordable but when homes in a town go for 350k or more it is a much more affordable option.
Trying to find a MFH in Maine that has a couple bedrooms or even 3. You can’t find any here that are decent. The good ones there are none.
Not really— seems like you are implying that conventional home prices can be compared with inflated mobile home prices. This is like comparing apples to oranges—they are very different, though both are food.
