The kitchen is the heart of the home.

Not only do we spend many hours in our kitchens preparing wonderful meals, most of us use the room as the central command post for the family.

With all the time that we spend in the kitchen, we should have it as organized and stylish as possible!

Here’s some great mobile home kitchen inspirations and organizing tips that you can use in your next remodel or update.

You can easily remove a small section of your bottom cabinetry and use a rolling cart in its place. If you are about to update your cabinets or counter top, this is a great idea. There’s no loss of space at all, only added convenience. You can usually find these types of carts at an affordable price or simply retrofit a small bathroom vanity by adding wheels and a butcher block top.

Single wide homes usually lack a mud room or entrance way for shoes, coats and other things needed on a regular or seasonal basis. You could build an organizational system like the one below to make up for it, though!
While the setup below looks expensive, you could use prebuilt shelving and furniture to come up with a similar and much more affordable option.
  • Six foot tall shelving that most home improvement stores have usually cost around $50.

– Add small wheels to the bottom and frame it and then add trim to give it a built-in look. You could have something very similar for less than $150!

  • A small side table could act as a bench.
-Add wheels to the bottom of baskets to store under the table and you have a small bench.
  • A bathroom cabinet would work perfectly for the high storage area.

These under-sink storage solutions are available for any budget. You can buy the hinged doors that simply have a space for sponges for less than $50 or go with something like below for quite a bit more.

I liked this kitchen design because its shape reminded me a bit of a double wide. Sleek and simple are all the rage in kitchen design and a design similar to this would work perfectly for a double wide.

Double wide homes usually have basic ‘room’ layouts but who says you can’t change it up with a galley kitchen? If you need more room for the living area this design could work wonderfully for you.
