We Love This One Of A Kind 1959 El Dorado Kropf

We rarely find vintage trailers like this 1959 El Dorado Kropf listed for sale. So, when we first saw this one, we immediately saved it to share it with you all. Full of upgrades inside and out, it still has that retro charm that can only be found in these older mobile homes. Listed for sale in a 55+ community in California, this is a one-of-a-kind look, with a price tag of $149,000.

Interior Transformation

Let’s start with the inside of this vintage beauty. The owners took the original tiny home and added the cutest and most original addition to it. The living room space is full of natural light, with a set of French doors as well as a side entrance from the covered porch.

The main bedroom/bath in the addition portion of this 1959 El Dorado Kropf is also one of a kind. Rather than hide the exterior of the vintage trailer, the owners incorporated it into the room design.

The kitchen is part of the original trailer, with all the small cabinets and storage space. However, you can see that the ceiling has been modified and a skylight added.

Attention To Detail

The outside of this vintage home is a real attention grabber. The owners enclosed the entire trailer with a roof over it and then built around it, with one side being used as a carport space and the other one being the addition.

The front of this 1959 El Dorado Kropf makes quite a statement. Too bad they aren’t able to add an entrance to the home through the French doors.

It’s very cool that rather than destroying the vintage trailer, the owners decided to build around it and incorporate it into a bigger home. Of course, there is still a lot that could be done to update the interior, we wouldn’t touch the one-of-a-kind exterior. Kudos to whoever came up with the design!
