Succulents are probably not the first thing you think of when you think of small space landscaping. However, they make a great ground cover along sidewalks or paths. Plus, they are super low maintenance.

If you are trying to make the most of the small space you have and still want to have an outdoor entertainment space, lose the grass and add some rocks and pebbles, sprinkle in some lights and furniture, and have the most perfect spot to relax and entertain.

There are tons of options for trees that you can plant in a tight space. Just be sure that whatever tree you choose works for the zone you live in and that they will not get too large for the spot you are planting them in.

A common feature in mobile home communities is fencing to separate properties. Why not make the most of those dividers with some beautiful flowers planted inside a cool fence planter or in a recycled pallet attached to the fence.

Raised flower beds can be used not only for flowers but also for herbs and vegetable plants. Line them along your property line or along your mobile home for an easy way to create a colorful border.

If space is really tight, try planting your flowers or plants in containers. They fit easily just about anywhere and you can grow just about anything in them!

Even in a small yard, you can still add some landscaping around your porch or steps to add curb appeal. Try adding some landscape bricks and a couple of bushes, an easy way to complete the look. But, make sure when planting that you pick plants that won’t get too large for the space.

I live in a mobile home park so there are specific rules as what you can and can’t do. When I moved in there was that ugly red lava rock all around the mobile. I shoveled out the rock and I put in a paver patio and bought a canopy for the side yard. The back yard is raised flower beds and AstroTurf. Easy to keep clean and always green. I pick up a lot of wind items and decorative items to hand on the fence the Dollar Stores are a good place to buy these items at a great price. There is a lot you can do to make it easy to care for and cute, you just have to use your imagination.
Beautiful landscaping. Can’t wait for late spring to start things here in southwestern PA.
