The renovated manufactured home that we are sharing today is located in the luxurious mobile home community, The Point Dune Club in Malibu. Owned by actor David Arquette, the home was completely gutted in 2012 and sold in 2017 for a whopping $1,475,000.
Over the years we have shared many remodeled homes owned by the rich and famous. Homes from Pamela Anderson, Betsey Johnson, and most recently from actress Minnie Driver and the one thing all of these homes have in common is the amazing transformation that each of these homes underwent.
Modern and Polished in Malibu
We weren’t able to find any pictures of the renovated manufactured home before the remodeling process. However, as you can tell, this was a total remodel. The open-plan living spaces feature crisp white walls, dark brown hardwood floors, and multiple sets of glass sliders that open to a roomy wraparound deck with panoramic ocean and coastline views. There are custom built-ins in a den area just off the main living space as well as in the corridor that leads to the bedrooms. One bedroom has a built-in desk area and the master bedroom has plenty of natural light flowing into the space.

Both bathrooms feature black hexagon floor tiles and walls lined from floor-to-ceiling in gray-grouted white subway tiles as well as frosted windows to allow for privacy but provide natural light.

The exterior of the home is just breathtaking as the interior. It features an ultra-modern style with exterior walls of gray corrugated material and a multi-car carport. The deck features multiple setting areas that make it picture-perfect for those sunny California days.

The Malibu area is full of lavish mobile home communities that offer luxurious amenities such as pools, saunas, gates, as well as security. Plus, let’s not forget the spectacular views of the ocean. That’s why it’s no surprise that a renovated manufactured home would go for such a high price. And, even though homes like this aren’t what most mobile homeowners can afford, they still offer great inspiration for remodeling ideas.
