Finding decor ideas for your home isn’t the hard part. But, turning those visions of how we want our mobile home to look can be tough. It’s even more difficult when you donât have much money. Fortunately, you don’t have to spend loads of money on achieving the effect you desire, there are many ways you can decorate your home on a budget. Here are five simple decor ideas for personalizing your mobile home.
Photos remind us of great memories and add color to a space so they trump impersonal wall art. Brighten your room and add a familiar texture to your walls with canvas photo prints. Finding deals for canvas printers is fairly easy. I was able to get 2 18″x18″ canvas prints with my daughter’s image on them for less than $40 last year (I don’t remember the name of the company, sorry).

Blank white walls can be very cold and uninviting, and in addition to hanging up canvas prints, you can liven up this space by painting the walls your favorite colors. This will add a personal touch as well as brighten up your home. If youâre feeling extra creative, you could paint your own murals and designs to make your mobile home truly unique.

Adorning your mobile home with your own trinkets and decorative items will make a huge difference to the atmosphere in your home. Seeing your own favorite items every day will certainly brighten your mood and make you feel at home, and these items could also prompt interesting conversations with your guests. If you love traveling, then itâs a fantastic idea to decorate your home with souvenirs from your journeys to remind you of happy times. These souvenirs and trinkets donât need to be fancy or expensive to make a big difference to your home!

Itâs no wonder that house plants are becoming increasingly popular. For a reasonable price, plants can add color to your home, boost your mood and improve air quality. Adding your favorite plants to your mobile home can also add a personal touch to your decor without breaking the bank.

If youâre on a budget and canât afford to buy new furniture, then upcycling could be perfect for you. Upcycling is the process of giving old and unwanted objects a second life. For furniture, this could involve buying cheap, secondhand furniture that looks old and worn and then sanding over any rough edges or scratches and giving it a fresh coat of paint. This is a much cheaper option than buying new pieces, and if youâre creative, you can give this furniture any look or style you want, making upcycling perfect for adding a personal touch to your mobile home.

Decorating on a budget doesnât have to be hard. By using the five decor ideas listed above, or even your own, you can personalize your mobile home and make your home truly your own.

Chill, Maredith!! ?
The set-up people have their job to do and theyâll need your input, at times.
Itâs not doable to take it âone day at a timeâ. (Oh, no,) And taking it even a few hours at a time is too much.
Managing your day by the HOUR may be more like it, as things come up. The kids go back to school, for example. Be flexible and expect that things will go sideways sometimes and youâll roll with it! You can DO THIS!!
