Mobile homes are our passion and this vintage trailer combines two of our favorite things, mid-century design and a completely restored vintage mobile home. We found this vintage gem on Curbed and it was just too great not to share.
Mid-Century Design Interior
Built in 1958, and boasting a small addition, this is one of the original tiny homes manufactured back when mobile homes were just beginning to become a popular option for full time living. The homeowners did a great job updating this vintage trailer while still leaving many of the original details of the home.

Storage, Storage, Storage
Even though this tiny home is right around 480 square feet, the manufacturer definitely didn’t skimp on the kitchen storage. An abundance of cabinets, though small, can be found in this darling kitchen.
We already know mid-century decor is very popular right now. By making the most of smaller spaces its a perfect decor trick for mobile homes. Clean lines, open floor plans and plenty of natural light are just a few ways to maximize smaller homes.
Mint Green Beauty
Located in Sahara Park, a senior park in California that is home to many cool homes that we have shared over the years, there is much to love about the curb appeal of this vintage trailer.
It’s great to see homeowners taking on projects of older mobile homes and restoring them. There are so many awesome vintage mobile homes out there with great bones that just need a little TLC to turn them into beauties like this one.
